See the Value

If you compete because of greed and selfishness then you'll become incompetent to see the value of others!

My Perspective on Why Marriage Fails

Today, someone asked me: Why marriages and relationship dissolve?

In addition to the obvious factors and reasons, it is a known fact that divorce is no longer a stigma; to the contrary it's highly acceptable.

More women are in the workforce and are becoming more self-sufficient. As we age, we evaluate our lives and achievements (like midlife crisis).

We explore new challenges that will bring us personal and career growth. We start to pursue our hopes and dreams.

While some partners will support our growth 100%, they stay stagnant with no desire to grow with you.

Now you find youself walking a different path and growing apart.

When you are a young couple you have so much to do together, you share so many dreams & hopes and then BOOM Monotony occurs and courtship takes a long hiatus and only shows up when things need to be mended.

To make relationship stronger continue practicing courtship, and routinely show Appreciation, Acknowledgement, Acceptance and Respect. But most important, grow with your partner.

Regrets

Regrets are like wounds that never heal

Like a sorrow that is never calmed

Like hope that never was

They are decisions disguised as good judgements

Little devils that want to derail you and sink you into a deep hole

whose only exit is accepting that life is full of highs and lows, achievements and disappointments, tears and laughters, trials and peace of mind, losses and winnings

All leading to a better and stronger YOU!

Perspective & Empowerment

Last night was a sleepless night for me. It's not a regular occurrence. Hence, I did not stressed myself nor did I fight it.

I had two options: to be frustrated or to take this time to watch my son sleep. So I did. I watched and it was relaxing. Then, around 1am, I hear a coughing noise. I noticed my son vomiting on his stomach while sleeping.

It was all over him, the bed, the rug and The floor. I kept my calm, I freaked a couple of minutes (lol) helped my son and cleaned everything and thanked God for keeping me up all night.

The point I'm trying to make is that changing your perspectives on the negative things that may happen to you is vital on how your day, your week, month or year will unfold.

With that said, I'll leave you with this quote: ”Worrying does not empty tomorrow of its troubles, it empties today of its strength”
